So I have been having some bad breath lately .mostly morning breath that lasts all day. I have tried everything you can Imagine for example.i floss twice a day brush my teeth 3 times a day for 2 or more minutes like the doctor told me. Use tounge scrapers, rinse with expensive mouthwashes, CHEW sugarless gum ALL day.. I dont have tonsil stones and avoid spicy, garlicy foods ,unions, milk, cheese etc but nothing seems to be working. I want to get rid of this problem forever… PLEASE dont tell me bad breath comes from the stomach because doctor katz told me that was a myth and showed me proof.. And another thing orabrush does NOT work and I have tried EVERY single mouthwash and that includes smartmouth.. Mostly the bad breath is caused by my morning breath(if that helps) thanks everyone

Im a sufferer of chronic bad breath and its really hard because no one is taking me seriously (doctor, dentist) i think my problem is i produce too much anaerobic bacteria , a more substantial amount than the normal person, ive read that this is possible, this leads to bad breath because the bacteria gets out of control plus i have a fured tongue where the bacteria gets trapped, i try to control it by garagling salt water and using oxygenated mouth rinse, a tongue scraper and brushing my teeth 3x a day but sonn after the bb comes back!! is there any other treatment that can balance and reduce the production of this bacteria. I really need a solution its getting me extremly depressed!
Thnx

I got 2 wisdom teeth pulled on Friday… and I’ve been rinsing with salt water after every meal… but there is a absolutely HORRIBLE taste and smell coming from back there now… and I can’t stand it. I try to stay as far away from people as possible while talking to them, I am SO self-conscious about it… I can’t brush the surgical sites for 7 days… I NEED something to help with the bad breath, it’s the worst!!! What can I do?

I brush my teeth, floss, and use mouthwash daily. I went to the dentist a week ago and she told me that my gums and teeth were healthy. I also brush the tongue whenever I brush. I thought I might have something wrong with my inner organs, so I went to the doctor, but he too, told me that they were healthy. I do smoke, but I only smoke 1-2 cigarettes a day or a few per week. I also chew sugarless gum and drink water. Why do I have occassional bad breath? Sometimes I do and other times, I don’t. Why?

I’ve had halitosis almost my whole life, (im 18) and i’ve tried everything to fix it. i brush my teeth 2-3 times a day, floss, use mouthwash, chew gum constantly , and nothing works ! I’ve never even had a cavity so it can’t be that i’m not brushing properly.
This is really embarrassing and I don’t know what to do about it, if i find a cure i would be so much more confident !
Help !

I always feel that I have bad breath, and really effects my self esteem. I am considered to be attractive, but shun away from talking close to people. I think I have excess bacteria on my tongue, and always feel that my mouth is dry. Can people have a tongue transplant?
