I suffer from chronic halitosis, very chronic. I’ve tried Breath Rx, Smart Mouth, and I’m currently testing the TheraBreath system. None of these have proved to cure my halitosis. I spend 10 minutes brushing my teeth, twice a day, beginning with scraping my tongue with a larger tongue scraper, then a small scraper provided in the TheraBreath starter kit, with TheraBreath toothpaste on it. I then brush my teeth, brushing my teeth, gums, cheeks, top of my mouth, and lastly, my tongue. I then rinse with the oral rinse provided by TheraBreath, and gargle with the ActivOxygen rinse. I use the extinguisher spray, nasal spray, and extra strength drops on the back of my tongue. As I brush my teeth, there is a very large quantity of mucus formed. I figured that because of this symptom, my bad breath was due to post nasal drip. However, that does not seem to be the case anymore. I’m running out of options…help! I’m only 19..this shouldn’t be!
I’ve been dealing with this problem for almost ten years now. In high school I didn’t know what to do, so I just chewed gum all the time. I still have my tonsils, but I don’t have tonsillitis. I’ve asked my dentist about it and all he suggested was possibly a gastric problem. I have excellent brushing routines, as I’ve said before. I take care of my mouth more than anyone and I still have this problem. I don’t eat spicy foods or foods with garlic just because I know it will enhance my bad breath
Joe K…I’m not sure what my breath smells like, I just know it smells. How can I tell…preferably without embarrassingly asking anyone

if i have have bad breath mostly in the bcck of my mouth, can he still realize it while we kiss (normally)?
if so how can i get rid of it?

I have two five month old kittens with absolutely horrible breath. I give them feline greenies more than once a day, and i feed them premium kitten food, but their breath is just horrible. I know their teeth are not rotting because most of the time that happens with older cats and i have HAD an older cat like that. What is the best remedy?

i went to the dentist last yr and was told i have gum disease….its pretty advanced from what they said. some of the pockets are 6,7,&8 cm deep and was told some of the teeth need to be removed. I had insurance at the time but dont anymore and it isn’t likely that i will be able to afford insurance anytime soon…they tried to refer me to a specialist but i lost my job and the insurance before i could go. Im still young and want to take care of this issue before it progresses any further. Is there anything i can do to get affordable treatment or some steps that i can take to help. (an added issue is that i have bad breath all the time due to the disease…and it makes me really self conscious when it comes to dating/kissing. is there anything that i can do to help stop the bad breath? any advice that would help would be greatly appreciated, thanx
does that oram plus really work? I looked it up and it almost seems too good to be true.and im not a fan of ordering anything offline, not to mention i dont have a credit card….lol is there another way to get the stuff? have you used it?

I have been pretty much hooked to AIRWAVES chewing gum for some time, having 3-4 a day, mostly swallowing them after chewing. No I am reading that these are not very good for you because of the contained Aspartame etc…

So what would be an alternative against bad breath ?

I don’t suffer from it all the time, but it is nice to freshen up your mouth from time to time.

I try mints,brushing teeth, mouth wash everything!
My girl friend gets really annoyed because when I kiss her she can smell the bad breath through my nose. Least my mouths minty fresh but what the heck can I do about nose breath!

I brush my teeth very well twice a day. I just don’t see why this happens. I just woke up from a nap and I can TASTE my bad breath. This isn’t unusual for me though. It happens often. Does this happen to anybody else? Is it normal at all? =/
