i like to play with my cat and when he bites my hand i smell his breath and it stinks bad how do i stop it?

My friends and father say I have horrible breath. I tried the "licking hand" method, and smelled something, but it wasn’t anything good or bad. The "breathing into your hand and smelling it" doesn’t really work for me either. I brush my teeth after every meal (except lunch, because I am at school then), floss, and use mouthwash. I also brush my tongue with fresh toothpaste. (I use Colgate.) My dad thinks that I have bad breath because I don’t get enough rest so I suffer indigestion. I don’t know if this is true or not, and he says it isn’t something I need to consult a doctor with.
What can I do to tell if I actually have bad breath or not? And why?
If I do, how can I help it???
Also, my mom says my breath is fine, which just adds to the confusion.
Again to all of you; some people say I have horrible breath, some say it is fine.

i feel like i always have bad breath what are some ways i can know for sure that i don’t have bad breath?

What I do every/use every morning is:

Pre-brush mouth wash (whitener)
Brush; all three sides of teeth
Clean tongue
Mouth wash

I do not floss.
I do not brush my teeth at night always, and when I do, it’s just a brush and tongue cleaning.
I avoid "bad" foods like Onions and Garlic
Sometimes even when I chew gum I can still smell it.

Why is my breath always bad?

I clean my times between 3-5 times a day, I use mouthwash if we’ve got it. I still suffer from bad breath I have my tongue pierced could this be causing it? I clean my piercing all the time, is there any products that could help me with my bad breath?

everymorinng i hav bad breath then when i brush my teeth, floss and use Scope mouthwash, its still smells bad!!!! i really. need some help!!! i cant even talk to people at skool beacuse of it!!!! do u have any home remedies, or advice/tips that i cud use pleasseee help me!!!( ive tried everything from mints to gum, to listerine patches)

i have dried everything like protonix, and i dnt eat less than 3 hrs be4 sleep, plz tell me wats work i had this FOR years, and it causes bad breath and tightening of the throat.

I used to frequently brush my teeth, once an hour. This was a few yearago and was because I was nervous that I had bad breath. I never noticed any recession at that time. Just recently I have notice that my gums are recedding. I was using a waterpik and have stopped because I believe this is what sted it. I stopped using it, but my gumline is still receeding excessively.

Is there anything I can do at home to stop this get my gumline togrow back in? Do I need to see a specialist for this? What would my options be for treatment? I am waiting on my husband to get enough hours at work for insurance.

BTW, I brush 2 to 3 times daily and floss/use mouthwash once to twie daily.
I don’t smoke or eat anything relatively unhealthy to have caused this (candy and such.)

Alright, I have been having this bad breath smell that my fiance smells (not me) and she says it is so bad that she cannot kiss me. She says my breath smells like rotten eggs and the odor has been coming on and off for about 3 months. I’ve already scheduled an appointment with my doctor, I am just a bit worried because I’m hoping this isn’t something bad.

I did some research and saw a disease called "Halitosis", but I don’t think I have that because I have not seen any symptoms in any of the diseases listed under that the whole three months. I have been eating these cheap Banquet microwave dinners and I think they might be the cause as we noticed this didn’t start until I started eating those.

So my question is, what do you think this is? I’m thinking it may have been those microwave dinners, I’m just trying to calm down because I get paranoid when it comes to my body. Thank you.

PS: My farts have a rotten egg smell as well but I’ve noticed that it has toned down since I stopped eating those Banquets. They’re real cheap microwave dinners that go for 80 cents at the store.
