chronic bad breath, and other problem lke a constant foul taste in my mouth and throat, and a burning sensation at the back of my throat? can any1 help? has any1 had these symptoms – what did you do to treat it? im desperate – any answers that might help plz say
ive been to the dentist and apparently thers nothing wrong with my teeth or gums. ive also been the doctor and they dont know whats wrong. its getting me down. oh and also any1 ever get this too – lke whenevr you eat anything the taste lasts in your mouth for hours and hours unless you brush your teeth. and i dnt mean even lke onion and garlic i mean every food even just simple choccie biscuits
thanks to your answers o far, but believ me i have tried everything. ive had this for 1 and 1/2 yrs, and ive been on tablets for acid reflux which didnt help, had nasule droplets for sinuses, which also made no difference, so its neither these, aslo had a CT scan which showed no infection of my sinuses. my diet and excersise is also pretty healthy. i floss, brush teeth well and use mouthwash. nothing has helped
apparently a pharyngeal pouch makes it difficult to breath and swallow and is rare in people under 50, and i am only 16. but i have neithr of these symptoms. and i realy cannot think of what else it can be. thnks for ur ansr tho

Lately I have noticed I have digusting breath. I brush reguarly and use mouthwash but it doesn’t help. I also have a white coating on my tongue, but it usually comes off when I brush, there’s just some plaque buildup on the back of my tongue that I can’t reach. I don’t think its thrush because it doesn’t look like any of the pictures of thrush and I have allergies/sinus drainage issues. How can I cure my bad breath? Its so embarassing?

I was in the store on Sunday checking out the clearance bin, a lady came over to browse too and she was one of those that like to get right in your face and talk. She was friendly enough, but her breath was so awful I could barely respond to the question she asked me! She leaned in and caught me off guard when she started talking and the stench of her breath went straight up my nose and to the pit of my stomach. I backed up and she kept talking, not even realizing my reaction or how bad her breath was smelling. I smiled, mumbled something and told her to have a nice day, then hauled my hiney away from there. I don’t have a weak stomach usually, but that time I did. it made me mad after I thought about it, there is no way she could not have smelled her own breath and put in some gum or something! She had her son with her and he was at least 20, he should have told her!

Had a friend once who everyone could smell to have body odor but I don’t think she knew… so just wanted to know this. And while kissing someone, can you tell if you or the person you’re kissing has bad breath?

My cat has the worst breath ever and he loves to give kisses!! Its so adorable and I hate to discourage it cause I love his kisses but he always tries to get me on the face/mouth and his breath is just horrible!! lol!! I tried getting him some of that pet breath stuff that you put in the water bowl but it has not helped one bit!! Does anyone know anything that I can use to help his breath?

*this guy i know* has bad breath even after he brushes his teeth. like it smells literally putrid rot and farts. He’s not very good at brushing either..he’s just okay.

Hi, ive not been to a dentist in about 7 years due to sheer fear, i have finally plucked up the courage to register with a dentist and have an appointment on Monday.

I have 2 black/brown holes on the sides of my two front teeth that have gradually got bigger and are now noticeable; I also have bad breath despite cleaning/mouthwash. Im guessing this is probably due to decay. Any ideas as to what it is or what the treatment will be?? Will I be able to get fillings or will the teeth need removing??

My mum puts heavy spices such as onions, garlics, coriander and curry powder constantly in her food.

I get bad breath constantly and i used to think it was because of poor teeth care and perhaps gums because my gums bleed slightly. My dentist introduced me to flossing and using mouthwash constantly. i clean my teeth every morning and night with an electric tooth brush and I take meticulous care for them. However, I am starting to realise that maybe it’s coming from my stomach? My mum’s dinner could be the cause of the spices decaying in my stomach or something like that. After I chew gum and I spit it out, the smell comes back.

Bad breath is affecting me a lot and I am constantly chewing gum because of it. Do all people hate people with bad breath?

I once went off my mums food for 5 days and ate pasta, pizza and foods like that and the smell lessened, however, it did not go away completely. Do you think if I went off the curry much, much longer it would have gone away completely?

Could it be partly bad gums and acidity in the stomach?
So could consuming heavy spices everyday be the reason of my constant bad breath?
