Can losing teeth cause bad breath in children?

Lately I have noticed that a 7 year old child has very bad breath. Her mother asked me if losing teeth could cause the bad breath, I didn’t think so, but thought I’d ask.

There is something else going on. If the teeth are normally falling out when they are supposed to be and they are not decayed, then this is something for a dentist or doctor to look at.
one time my neice got a piece of chicken stuck in her nasal canal…it got to be pretty stinky…maybe she has some food lodged someplace. ck her throat..other than that, if she has a loose tooth that is lifted up someplace, bacteria from food might be a problem too.
Does she brush her teeth?
Yes it can. kids teeth start to deteriorate before they fall out. If the tooth has been deteriorating for a while, chances are that the bactieria is causing the stink! Make sure the child brushes and uses mild mouthwash for kids. This will help with bacteria build up
