Can sore throat cause bad breath?

I have a mild sore throat i think its because its summer and im going to sleep at 3 am everyday and waking up at 11 am…
MY aunt toold me i have bad breath and my throat feels dry and so does my mouth.
IS my breath smelling because of the sore throat?

It could. A strep throat actually sometimes smells bad.
But if it’s not that painful, it’s a bit less likely that it’s strep, more likely you hadn’t brushed your teeth or had just eaten garlic
Not in a direct way. You see the reason why we get soar throats is because of germs and germs stinks. Hence our mouth produce fowl smells. So don’t blame it too much on the smell… it is just a side effect like soar throat…. SO KILL THE GERMS!!!

Yes, brush your teeth now and gargle with warm salt water it will numb your sore throat also gargle with Listerine it kills germs. When you go to sleep at night leave a bottle of water on your night stand and a pack of sugar free gum or throat lozenges to help keep your throat moist.
