I have had a sore throat and an ear ache for about 4 days now and it seems to be getting worse!! My tonsils are swollen and very red with what looks like holes all over them but they are not filled with pus just hurts to swallow….Even fluids like water hurts to swallow!!
I don’t think that i have strep cause i don’t have a high fever about 99.2 but i do fill chilled!!

MORE IMPORTANTLY this bad breath that no matter what i do it won’t go away it has been like that for about two day’s i have brushed my teeth and flossed them like 12 times today, and i have chewed gum but i still have this metalic taste in my mouth that won’t go away ( I don’t have any braces or anything metal in my mouth) The taste is nasty!!!

Does anyone have any idea how to help!! I am 2 busy to go to the doctoer and besides i don’t think i need to!!
oh fyi my tonsils have been swollen for about 2 months on and off…that’s another reason i don’t want to go to the doctor! I am afraid that she will want me to have my tonsils taken out!! Please give me some other treatments that mght work since apparently the antiobiotics are not helping!!

I have ceramic braces and lately they have been stained easily . I brush my teeth daily and use Listerine mouth wash which kills bacteria that causes bad breath and I have a tongue scraper . My breathe isn’t bad. I just have this nasty taste in my mouth and that’s how I know my breathe is stinky . Why is this and what can I do to cure it?

I’m in my thirties and still have adenoid tonsils / tissue present. I have to use q-tips to remove the sticky substance. Gargling does not help. I’m considering buying a water pick to help remove the build-up which is becoming a daily thing. Perhaps I should consider having my tonsils removed…

I really need help. I have to work around people everyday and I hate to talk cause my breath stinks so bad, please help me even if I brush my touge my mouth stinks, but i don’t think I brush my touge very well Do I have 2 get all in the back of my touge and the sides and everything??

If so, would offering tic-tacs be sufficient in stopping them or does the person need a full blown exorcism?

What causes bad breath during a water fast. I think I heard somewhere that it is caused by acetone being relesed out of your lungs, but I can’t find that answer anywhere. Thanks all in advance.
Yes water only. This is day 16 sometimes my breath is fresh and my mouth taste sweet but other times it horrible and my tongue is coated. In the morning time when if I swallow my saliva it burns my throat going down.
