I’ve recently become plagued with terrible bad breath. I have a simple plastic tongue scraper, and it doesn’t seem to be orking well. My breath is really rank, and it’s very annoying. What else can I try, other than going to a dentist?

The person is in a higher position than mine. The bad breath is almost always there and is "death breath". It’s absolutely stifling. The person doesn’t read body language (I back off, I politely conicidentally put my hand in front of my nose, I’ve offered mints, stand up wind when outside…) I’m afraid to hurt his feelings. It’s obviously seriously chronic. Any ideas?

so theres this really hot guy who likes me and i like him too but i just found out he has halitosis(permanent bad breath). i kind of noticed his bad breath last time we hung out but i didnt say anything and i didnt think it was that big of a deal. but then i was talking to this other guy about him and he said "eww that guy has halitosis" and then i asked a few other people and they all said it was true. but hes soo cute and hes really nice. its just that i cant handle bad breath especially if its uncurable like halitosis is. i found it out for myself the other night and ughh it totally ruined the way things were before :/ help! what should i do?

The manager is known to customers and staff alike as "the bloke with the bad breath" in the shop. Staff are having problems with the smell whilst in close proximity to the foul emmissions issuing forth from his mouth. How can something be done (in a kind, non agressive way) about the smell?

I have periodontal disease and despite the dental cleanings. Nothing has cured the bad breath problem. It is very offensive. I don’t even have to open my mouth. It will stink up the entire room. It smells like a rotten egg sulfer smell odor. It is very depressing!!

I’ve been dating this guy for a few months. As a back story we dated for two years about eight years ago, and have both only been in one serious relationship each – he’s in the middle of a divorce and I broke off my engagement to another man a few years ago in October. I love him to death, as a friend, and we’re getting really close really fast as lovers. The only problem is his breath is constantly bad. He says he never goes to the dentist and I don’t like to either but I always brush. I don’t want to hurt his feelings but whenever we cuddle in bed or on the couch I have to hold my head a certain way so I don’t smell his breath! Is it halitosis? Sometimes I say, "Now when you get home I want you to take a shower and brush your teeth because I want to take you out to dinner," but how do I explain this is becoming a problem the rest of the time? Again, I really don’t want to hurt his feelings. Any advice?

So it is very embarrassing and I can’t speak about it in person with anyone for obvious reasons, but my breath smells like feces…it is so awful that I feel like everyone talks about me if I am near them. My question is, what can stop it? I brush my teeth at least twice a day, with mouthwash and floss…

I have been brushing and flossing and using mouthwash for the last year and it just will not go away. What makes it worse is because someone told me to brush my teeth because they smelled it, yet I do. It’s an awful feeling and I feel like I am a good person at heart so why is this happening to me. But is this just some strange and rare occurrence or does this happen to many people?

I have tried the Orabrush and that doesn’t work. I have tried mouthwash that my dentist recommending to get rid of the smell and it doesn’ work. I have bought different tooth brushes and used ones that my dentist recommended. Yes I know about Halitosis. I don’t know what else to do other than have breath mints handy, but I don’t want to spend the rest of my life worrying about if I have breath mints or not. And I REALLY would hate to not be able to be intimate with someone because of it. Is there anything you guys can tell me that will help?
