Solutions to Bad breath?

I feel so embarrassed. I have really bad breath. I’ve had it since I was a little girl. My teacher used to
ask me "did you brush your teeth this morning?" And I used be bullied for it.

I brush and floss my teeth 3 times a day. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol or coffee/tea.
I try to stay away from garlic, onion and sweets. I chew sugarless gum everyday.

I removed my tonsils 10 years ago so I know i don’t have tonsil stones. Last month
when I visited the dentist she said I had no cavities or oral cancer.

I’m not diabetic. I feel overall healthy (except for being very tired due to lack of
sleep because of studying late) I drink a lot of water and eat healthy food. No
fast food. I exercise 3 times a week.

I have tried expensive product online because I’ve read that normal tooth paste and
mouth wash are not good for cronic halitosis (bab breath)

Since 2009 I’ve been using Thera Breath. But really, it does not work. People still hold their
nose when I speak or move away.

Everyday when I come home from school I just start crying till I get exhausted.
I don’t know what to do about my problem. Nobody wants to talk to me because I make them
uncomfortable. Their disgusted looks is so humiliating. I’ve just decided not to talk to anybody.
I live by myself and I have nobody to talk to.

I don’t know if its related but my armpits smells pretty bad too, even though I shower EVERYDAY!
I do not sweat a lot. But the little sweat that comes out has a strong odor. Similar to weed.
(I’ve never smoked weed)

Also, my brother has bad breath. Do you think we have the "bad breath gene?"
(our parents do not have bad breath, oddly enough)

Sometimes I feel so stupid for making this a big deal when other people in the world
are starving. But to be honest with you, I am very close to kill myself. If I don’t find a
solution soon I do not want to live this miserable life.

God Bless You All and I hope you will never have my problem.

OKAY MY LITTLE TEACUP CHICHI DOG HAS HAD BAD BREATH SINCE I GOT HER (2 MONTHS AGO), AND NOW THAT IM STARTING TO BRING HER AROUND, WHEN PEOPLE GET CLOSE AND SHE GETS UP FOR A KISS, HER BREATH SMELLS LIKE SOMEONE HAD DIED IN THERE.

I was always aware of this but i didnt know what to do exactly. my mind always said "JUST BRUSH HER TEETH LIKE U WOULD NORMALLY". And that’s what i did not too long ago, it smells better but once she goes back to eating her dog food it wont.

Im going to bring this up next time I go to the vet, it’s not like she’s going to die so i’ll just do so then. But in the meantime…

-DO I CHANGE HER DIET?
-KNOW OF ANY TOYS/TREATS, ETC. FOR HER SIZE
-HOME REMEDIES?
-JUST KEEP BRUSHING HER TEETH?

ANY SUGGESTIONS/COMMENTS ARE WELCOME

Did Gene Rayburn have bad breath?

You remember Gene…Emcee of the game show "The Match Game" from 1962 to 1969, now memorialized over The Gameshow Network?

Maybe you were a contestant on The Match Game back then.

Maybe you are (or knew) one of the celebrity panelists like Richard Dawson, Charles Nelson Riley, Brett Summers (the "regulars"), or one of the other guest panelists.

Well if you have any personal knowledge of Gene Rayburn from having been on The Match Game or from stories heard from any of his panelists…did Gene have bad breath?

Here’s where this comes from.

You can’t smell breath over TV. No such thing as "Smell-a-Vision" yet.

But Gene had a big, toothy grin. And a very pronounced overbite. In his delivery, he often craned his neck forward to speak into his little hand held mic-on-a-stick, or to get in contestants’ or panelists’ faces to solicit their responses to his game show queries.

He looks kinda overbearing…like the guy at the party you don’t want to engage because he’ll be breathing over you and in your face all night if you encourage him.

But I like Gene! He seemed like a nice guy with a quick wit and easy demeanor. I just have one relative who watches Game Show Network and The Match Game reruns with weekly regularity. And she has nicknamed Gene…"Mr. HALITOSIS" because he just LOOKS like he would have bad breath and be completely unaware of it.

This is a ridiculously small and petty question…but it is a valid question none-the-less. Gene died in 1999, but his memory lives on through Gameshow Network archives as if he were still alive today. So to settle this family dispute as to whether this nice, funny, and easy-going emcee ever really did have Halitosis — I ask the Yahoo! Answers community now. Do you KNOW if Gene Rayburn had bad breath or not?

Please reference your sources as this is not one to guess at. We are looking for the truth behind this grand mystery as to the quality of Gene Rayborn’s breath. (smiles)

And thank you Yahoo! Answers for providing a forum over which the public can ask ridiculously remote questions they might not otherwise ask with raised hand in an in person forum. You allow even the smallest of life’s questions to be answered here, and that’s fun when members can settle even moronic disputes with authority.

Does your 5 year old have bad breath?

I know it’s natural for little ones to have a bit of halitosis , but my daughter has odd smelling breath. It’s not reeking of stank, it’s just smelly. I’ve changed her toothpaste, thinking that may have been the problem. I thought it worked for awhile, but now the bad breath is back. She doesn’t eat strong odored food, so I don’t know what could be causing it. Does your child suffer from the same thing? Even my husband has noticed it. It’s not your normal "morning" breath. What do you suggest we do about this? Thanks!

Why is his breath so bad?

My husband has horrible breath. He brushes his teeth, gargles, all of that but still has terrible breath. In the morning when I wake up, I’ll leave the bedroom to get a glass of water, when I return I notice the entire bedroom smells like his breath.

Is this halitosis? Is his stomach upset? I notice that it’s not always THIS bad. Sometimes it’s a little better, sometimes worse. I’ve said something to him in the past (at a time it wasn’t quite as bad), that maybe he ought to go brush his teeth (maybe two hours after he already had). I don’t say anything now though because I feel bad and don’t want to hurt his feelings. I’m just worried something may be wrong or out of sorts with him.

Help! I can’t get rid of my bad breath!?

I suffer from chronic halitosis, very chronic. I’ve tried Breath Rx, Smart Mouth, and I’m currently testing the TheraBreath system. None of these have proved to cure my halitosis. I spend 10 minutes brushing my teeth, twice a day, beginning with scraping my tongue with a larger tongue scraper, then a small scraper provided in the TheraBreath starter kit, with TheraBreath toothpaste on it. I then brush my teeth, brushing my teeth, gums, cheeks, top of my mouth, and lastly, my tongue. I then rinse with the oral rinse provided by TheraBreath, and gargle with the ActivOxygen rinse. I use the extinguisher spray, nasal spray, and extra strength drops on the back of my tongue. As I brush my teeth, there is a very large quantity of mucus formed. I figured that because of this symptom, my bad breath was due to post nasal drip. However, that does not seem to be the case anymore. I’m running out of options…help! I’m only 19..this shouldn’t be!
I’ve been dealing with this problem for almost ten years now. In high school I didn’t know what to do, so I just chewed gum all the time. I still have my tonsils, but I don’t have tonsillitis. I’ve asked my dentist about it and all he suggested was possibly a gastric problem. I have excellent brushing routines, as I’ve said before. I take care of my mouth more than anyone and I still have this problem. I don’t eat spicy foods or foods with garlic just because I know it will enhance my bad breath
Joe K…I’m not sure what my breath smells like, I just know it smells. How can I tell…preferably without embarrassingly asking anyone

Does haliotis make your breath smell bad?

Not Halitosis that’s a different word?
Haliotis the shell fish.

Why does my dog's breath smell so bad?

I have a 1 y/o golden retriever/border collie mix. She is a healthy weight, has clean teeth, a healthy diet, etc. She drinks a lot of water (more than normal, i think). Her breath isn’t like normal stinky dog breath. It actually smells awful, like she has a chronic condition or something. She doesn’t eat dog poop in the yard, and it doesn’t smell like that either. It smells like human halitosis or something similar to that. What could be wrong with her???
She eats dry dog food and has plenty of exercise. She always has dental bones and toys to chew on also. There are no problems with her licking her rear either.

How do you tell someone their breath reeks?

Ok, my sister always has very bad breath. Whenever she opens her mouth to talk to me I have to hold my breath a little so I dont smell her. How do I tell her and what do I do? I have brough gum for our days out togther and she never takes it. I think she has halitosis or something.

halitosis?

when’s the last time you heard that word used as a reference to bad breath.??
