I am desperately seeking the names of physicians who can treat a parasitic disease which has settled in my mouth, throat, larynx, sinus cavities and now moving into my ears and eyes. For 5 years now, the pain is getting progressively worse. Currently, I have excruciating pain in my mouth, I am having increasing difficulty breathing and swallowing and this is getting critical since I am wheezing with each breath. I have very serious underlying health problems that include multiple congenital heart problems and Hepatitis C contracted via a blood transfusion.

I cannot eat without being in almost unbearable pain. This pain is NOT caused by my teeth but by the “strands” of slimey, writhing things that have “hooks” that pierce my upper palette, lips and tongue. These “strands” come up my throat into my mouth and nose.

I have been to many infectious disease doctors and dentists who diagnosed everything from “in my head” to dry mouth (Sjorgren’s syndrome). These conditions, along with neuralgia, were subsequently ruled out and I told the by the doctors that they did not know the cause of my complaints. The only treatment that “worked” was when I treated for the giardia lamblia parasite. The anti-parasitic medicine for that did start to affect this parasite. But it was not the correct medication.

I fear that this situation is out of control and I am desperate for a physician/medical center who is an expert in parasitic infections, diagnosing and treating them. A research scientist is not the answer – I need a doctor who actively does more lab testing than fecal samples and can treat this problem.

Hi There Looking For A Good Remedy For Bad Breath. Any Ideas? I Brush My Teeth Twice A Day.

Okay…this is a bit of a story so please bear with me. When I was 18 (now 24) I had bronchitis. A few months later my left lung became extremely raw and painful and would rumble, for lack of a better word, when I breathed in. Didn’t do it when I breathed out. I honestly thought that smoking had done this to me. I went to the doctor and asked her if it could be an infection. She said yea it could be, but all she did was take x-rays and told me my lungs looked really bad. I quit smoking and it helped my lung, but only somewhat. It stopped rumbling, but has been raw and hurts when I take a deep breathe ever since. If I push my lung against my ribs, it is so painful I feel as if I’m going to faint. The only way I can describe it is as very raw. I didn’t smoke for 2 years, but my lung did not heal. I thought that I had permanently damaged my lungs from smoking and I was going to have to live with it. About two months ago my lung started to bother me bad again and it was hard to me to get a good breath. And two weeks ago the rumbling started again. I thought it had to be an infection because it feels like mucus is clogging up my lung when I breath causing the "rumbling." Coincidentally, my fiance went to the dentist for a broken tooth and got antibiotics at the same time. I took half of them and my lung completely cleared up. When I ran out, the problem in my lung came right back. So, this has got me 99% convinced that I have had a chronic infection in my lung (maybe bronchitis?) for six years! Also, for the last couple of years my blood pressure that been slightly high and think that the infection has been stopping enough oxygen from getting into my blood. I do not have insurance and that’s why I’m seeking help here. I can get some more antibiotics from family members. Do you recommend this? I may be way off and be completely wrong. I am no doctor. But after the research I have done online and what has come to light recently, I think it’s an infection. If I have had an infection in my lung for 6 years, it is unimaginable what damage it has done and how difficult it will be to fully get rid of. I need some advice. Thanks.

im 14 i am a severe mouth breather and my breath is BAD I brush my teeth 2 times a day for 10 min. each time and i take good care of my teeth i also read that if you brush your teeth after everytime you eat for 2-3 weeks that bad breath goes away but it hasnt do u have any advise home remedies anything my last option is the doctors so help please i can hardly breath through my nose i take in less air through my nose(i get lite headed) thats y im a mouth breather i cant have mints in school i brush my tongue like crazy and i dont have mouthwash parent doesnt buy it i have fine teeth my dentist said so and my parents wont buy all the things like tongue scrapers and all that (gots no rotten teeth or cavites i do not eat garlic uck! i drink water everyday i dont drink pop(soda)it make me sick im from west virginia so pop is what i say i need something fast and affective because i really wana take up latin and ballroom dance lessons soon and im not going to be able to do it with this problem

I have these horrible, disgusting, rancid, foul smelling, tonsil stones. I already have severe depression and anxiety and these make it worse. I can never have a boyfriend because they don’t want to smell these things on my breath. I actually never had a boyfriend and I’m not ugly it’s just these horrible things turn people off. I obsess about them constantly and they are constantly coming out of these holes in my tonsils. Sometimes I want to end my life cause of them. They are causing me to not have any friends in life. My doctor refused to remove my tonsils to get rid of them and that is the only way to get rid of them I heard. I tried everything they said to get rid of them. I floss after every meal, use thera breath mouthwash, brush my teeth after every meal, brush my toungue after every meal. I make sure my mouth is rinsed out before bed and I gargle. I never had sinuses or a runny nose so it’s not from that. I want my nasty ugly tonsils out and every doctor refuses to do it. Isn’t this considered refusal of treatment. Don’t I have a right to treatment. I thought doctors have to help people to be healthy and cure them. I know some adults said they had their tonsils removed because of them well why won’t they remove my adult tonsils? Can I sue them for not treating me and refusing to treat me. What if I comitted suicide cause of the tonsil stones? Would the doctor be the cause of my suicide from neglect to treat the tonsil stones? I cry everyday cause of them. Please someone help I want to kill myself right now cause of this horrible disease. I’m sorry it’s a little bit long but please read , I really need help !
I’m 20 and in fact I’ve doubted that I have a mild asthma for tow years now , because sometimes I have a dry cough and I have a little wheezing when I breathe and also some shortness of breath, and I always feel worried about it , sometimes it gets worse at night and I start having pain when I breathe deep , and I find it hard to breathe out , but I never talk about this because I don’t want to disturb others around me and because my parents always feel over worried about me and I don’t want more attention , and I’m not the kind of people who complains about pain and illness I just can’t talk about them , and as soon as the symptoms go away I forget about everything and don’t want to think about the subject.
But yesterday it was so scaring , I don’t know how to describe it , You know that feeling when your stomach contracts when you throw up ? I had the same feeling in my lungs , and I was like trying to throw up the air out of my lungs , and when it happens I can’t breathe in nor breathe out , and that was so scaring. I had bad headaches too, so I lay down in bed and tried to breathe and calm down , and that lasted about an hour and later it stopped but I spent the rest of the eve so tired and exhausted.
please help me if you know something about a danger I should worry about, I can support and bear this if it doesn’t get worse !

Right, i bought the orabrush like 3 weeks ago, and i thought it wasnt going to work, but after 3 weeks of brushing my tongue, ITS WORKING!!!!!! and my breath is improveing little by little.. and now ive started flossing and using one of those wire things with brushes and its starting to go.. like, not totally, but a huge improvement in the colour of my tongue, (it looks a tad more pink now).

btw, i dont represent orabrush or anything, i am just telling you this because it actually does work!

@Mike the doctor did say it is risky to remove tonsils and that there is a lot of bleeding and pain involved but I just want them rid of. Also it might be because I have medicaid and they don’t want to bother cause medicaid won’t pay to remove tonsils and I don’t have any money to pay. I just don’t know how else to get rid of them and the smell sickens me in my stomach and my mouth always has a nasty taste in it with a feeling of hairs stuck in my throat cause of the tonsil stones. It affects my ability to taste food good also. I have an extremely sensitive gag reflux and I gag all the time because of them. It’s really uncomfortable and I’ve been suffering with them for years.
@Lexa If they are not tonsil stones then what are they. The doctor said this is what they are. What do you mean tonsils can’t have stones? Type in Tonsil stones and you will see they are real and can cause pain and discomfort. This is a medical condition. The medical term for it is Tonsilliloth.
@axhot it is a medical condition and they won’t cure it for me. The correct medical term for it is called Tonsilliloth. These tonsil stones give me great discomfort and cause me some ear and throat pain sometimes. Aren’t the doctors required to fix this? Why should I have to live with pain and discomfort?
@Lexa also I wouldn’t think this is healthy functioning tonsils I have when I have these nasty smelly things. They are greenish yellow and smell really bad and I can see them sticking out of my tonsils. They are, in FACT, the main reason for people with bad breath that they can never get rid of. Type in Tonsilliloth in google and you will see many stories on how nasty these things are. They scare me and I have a bad heart. I can’t get bacteria into my bloodstream and If one of these nasty bacterial smelling things gets into my bloodstream I could die. I had a hole in my heart and have to take antibiotics every time I go to the dentist. What will happen if one of these bacteria balls gets into my blood? I’m scared
@Merdacio no I think you are the troll and you know it. You go and google tonsil stones and tonsilliloth and you will see it is a real medical condition. I’m not dellusional. Many people have this and a doctor diagnosed me with this, duh. You are trolling trying to get an easy way to have high points on here and you probably have different accounts on here. This is my only account on here.

I have a miniature poodle and he has the worst breath ever. This dog is strange, he won’t chew on anything, play with toys, and is the most picky eater ever. i’ve been researching forums online and all the suggestions contradict themselves. I end up with 5 posts saying to use one thing and 5 more saying its unsafe for dogs. anyone know anything that is safe and readily available?
