I’ve had a lot of cats in my lifetime, but my 3 year old cat is the first one I’ve had who has bad breath. It’s unbearable!

I will be switching cat foods soon. As soon as this bag runs out, no more Whiskas! But, I don’t know if that is the problem.

I have seen breath fresheners for dogs, but none for cats.

I am going to mention it to her vet next time I take her in to see if it is feline halitosis. I have heard of people brushing their cats’ teeth, but my cat would never, ever let me do that. Is there anything I can do to freshen her breath at home?

I’ve heard liquid chlorophyll can help w/ bad breath and even b.o.? Which is the best brand to get (or are they all the same?)? And how do I go about using it for the bad breath and b.o.? Do I just follow the instructions on the bottle? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

This was one of the answers to my question before: use lemon juice as gargle..Can the bottled lemon juice sold in grocery stores be used for the treatment of bad breath? bottled like maybe it’s not pure but already diluted with some percent of water..

now I can’t find that answer. I know for sure the avatar was female but that’s all I remember. Really wish I would have written that breath kit down. Now I can’t even find my question about it. Anyway, if you know of a bad breath remedy kit I can do at home (cost of the kit is not really an obstacle, I’m to the point where I’ll pay just about any amount to get rid of this dreadful thing), and if you remember answering one of my questions about bad breath please answer again. But please anyone who knows of a proven bad breath remedy please answer with the full name for it and where I can buy it. P.S. BEFORE ANYONE ASKS, YES I’VE BEEN TO THE DENTIST AND GOT MY TEETH CLEANED ETC AND NOTHING HE TRIED WORKED FOR THE BAD BREATH. I’m almost 100% sure the bad breath is being caused my some sort of digestive issue but I haven’t gotten that ruled out for sure. I’m seeing a doctor and he’s running some tests to rule that out but in the meantime I’d like to try some other things please.
