I have a 4 month old puggle, and he’s been sick lately. He vomited about 3 times over the past 2 days but he’s better now. However his breath is still very smelly. Anyone have any ideas on how i can get rid of the bad breath?!

Brush his teeth. Believe it or not. but you do have to. Buy those ‘Yip yap’ or any other doggy breath mint for you dog. Just type ‘yip yap’ in the petsmart or petco website. I hope that’s helpful!
Get a dog tooth brush and brush his teeth. It should rid the bad breath
Yes, breath mint, or go to to the vet or buy some dog cleaning teeth products. I think they’re in store. If it’s from a sickness, I suggest you go to the vet.
Bad breath is an indicator of a stomach or gum problem. If it persists, take him back to the vet so they can figure out the root of the problem. He may still have some stomach upset, I don’t think he will need a dental yet as he is only four months old.
Feed your dog a species appropriate diet of raw meaty bones and organs from a variety of animals and your breath issues will disapear. They are what they eat. This horrid smell and vomiting is caused by what you are putting in his bowl. Make changes now! Stop feeding the dog crapinabag.
This dog is to young to have a build up of junk on his teeth to cause this. It’s the food.
you can give him doggy breathmints you can find them at the petstore and at some grocery stores
there are a few things to try. You could change his food, but you want to do this gradually so you dont upset his stomach. Mix the foods until you get more new food than old. You could also try giving the puppy dog breath mints almost all pet stores sell them, or try brushing his teeth. They sell flavored tooth paste and brushes at most pet stores. I would check with your vet first, the puppy may be to young for the mints and the toothpaste
Either your vets office or pet store sell a doggy tooth paste and toot brush as well, you should look into investing in some. If you get him used to brushing the teeth now, it should be easier for you as he gets older and then you may not have to get him as many pricier dental cleanings later in life. Your vets office will usually have a pamphlet on how to properly do it and are usually more then willing to show you how if you ask. Never use human toothpate though, it is VERY bad for them. Good Luck!!
There’s these mints at PetSmart. They are called Puppermints. I use them with my Pit Bull, and boy oh boy, are they worth it!
See your vet. Could be parvo. A 4-month old puppy should not have bad breath, or need his teeth cleaned. Brushed maybe, but not cleaned.
Get a great smelling cat.
Brush his teeth and find a flavor of mouthwash he likes and give him a little bit every morning. It wont hurt him to have about 1/2 an ounce a day. This is what ive done with my dog for 14 yrs and hes still kicking. They have flavored tooth paste for dogs now.Chicken, beef, liver, ect
Call up a vet and get a dental cleaning and then follow up with good dental hygiene. Do not feed wet food except for a treat. There is way less nutrition than dry and tends to cause more buildup on the teeth. Check out the moisture levels compared to nutritional levels.
Unfortunately, some dogs just have bad breath. However, if your pup has been sick, then you should go to the vet. They may have some insight to the cause of the smelly breath instead of just trying to cover it up.
Just so you know, Linda J is a spammer. So don’t listen to her answers. She has figured out how to beat the system. She stays in dogs, even properly answers a few questions, but mostly just copy/pastes her dog food pitch. Report Her.
