how do you cure bad dog breath? i give him the dog treats to help him with bad breath & it comes back?

Dogs get a bad breath for a reason, and it is no good just treating the symptoms with dog treats, you have to find out what is causing it, which can be anything from the diet, to bad teeth, to severe internal problems such as kidneys.
By just hoping to get rid of the bad breath then you could be overlooking any of these things.
Teeth for instance could need a good clean. If you leave a dog with bad teeth then infection can set into the bone in the jaw and you’ll never get rid of it.
I spent £1000 on antibiotics on an old rescue who came in like that. He had osteomylitis caused from dental treatment not being done.
Find the cause first,.
stinky breath is usually due to tooth or gum problems… tartar and bacteria. do you clean your dogs teeth ever? if they are bad you need to get the vet to clean them.
