When you understand the primary cause of bad breath you will know how to cure it. Most bad breath comes from bacteria on the top of the tongue. You can often see this bacteria as "white stuff", especially on the back of the tongue. To cure bad breath You must clean this off the tongue. Yes, some bad breath is caused by tooth decay or gum disease or smelly foods or upset stomach, but the primary cause is the bacteria. I have just learned about OraBrush tongue cleaner which is designed to clean the tongue. It is a brush and scraper and really controls my bad breath. It will clean the tongue. It will not cure gum disease or fill a too cavity.
Just try using an antibacterial mouth wash tds. Some toothpastes promote teeth whitening, professional teeth whitening is of course more effective.
I would brush your teeth regularly with a good whitening toothpaste then use a strong mouthwash ( or whatever kind of mouthwash ). Try chewing gum a whiting or tooth friendly kind or eating mints as they will always freshen your breath.
