i’ve tried drinking 2 litres of water but i only did that for a few days how long do i have to keep drinking for or are there any better remedies.

Bad breath usually comes from food decomposing in the mouth. A few possibilities:
1. Brush your tongue way back. If you gag, hold your breath and do it fast. Often a coated tongue is like a dirty, smelly carpet back there. You can even use your fingernails to scrap off the coating from your tongue.
2. Food and plaque (white furry coating) on teeth can smell too. Go get your teeth professionally cleaned. The DDS or hygienist can teach you how to better reach between the teeth (floss) and back to the molars.
3. Acid reflux, indigestion, from the stomach. Ask doctor for suggestions.
