This is my moms second chemo treatment. A few days after the first one she felt like crap. She was tired and nauseous and had body aches, but this time it’s a little different. She says it hurts to breathe and she’s a little short of breath. And when she coughs it hurts really bad. Anyone experience this and should we be worried?

i would be worried, just because she has cancer and is on chemo. maybe she should see a doctor.
Ring the cancer help line. The nurses will answer anything you need to ask.
You should contact her doctor right away or go to the ER. It could be a sign of infection or pulmonary embolism.
being on chemo makes her highly suceptible to infections. She should see a doctor ASAP!
You did not mention if she had lung cancer but anytime anyone on Chemo or not is short of breath and it hurts to breathe then it is a medical emergency. Take her to the Emergency room, and get her treated as soon as possible. Good Luck…
