one of my friends has had bad breath for the longest time now but, like most people, i don’t have the guts to tell him about his problem because i know it’ll be uncomfortably awkward. plus, i don’t want to hurt the poor guy’s feelings. anyway, i wouldn’t be surprised if he has halitosis because i’ve smelled his breath after he brushed his teeth. it’s literally the smell of mint and poop combined together. there was also another time where he grabbed a piece of gum (winter fresh) and started chewing for a couple minutes. i remember thinking, "gosh, i hope it makes his breath smell a bit better, at least". he started whistling and i smelled his breath from 2 feet away. it was not a pleasant smell.

so i was just wondering, is there anything worse than halitosis?

one more important thing, i’m ready to tell him about his problem but, i need a little help on choosing the right words. how can i nicely say "dude, your breath smells like dog sh!t."?

Hi, can you help? My 19 month old daughter has recently developed bad breath. She had it first when she had tonsilitis about a month ago, which I took to be part of the symptoms. Now it’s back, but I do not think she has tonsilitis again, as she has no fever and she has no problem eating. She is also happy within herself. I have been brushing her teeth twice a day since they started to appear, so I don’t think it is that. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

So Last night early this fine fine morning I was absolutely exhausted and didn’t think about sitting up when I drank and BAM anxiety hit like a stroke of lightning and being the absolute genius that I am decided to see what the symptoms were I thought I was going to die and doctor say "its very very bad to have fluid in your lungs" Ive also been increasing my exercise and have always had pain in my chest not lungs but below my breasticals. I think i’m making myself feel this pain. It hurts to breath out but then again I have been up for hours. Im pretty sure I would have had a choking moment if It did go in my lungs but I’m not sure I already had a doctors appointment today so ill ask then but until then any help/advise/ or just tell me how you shouldn’t self diagnose yourself…. Also being the smart kid I am AGAIN looked at treatments and said pills can sure minor fluid? Im hoping this is true… Thanks Guys

i have about a 6-7 month old Jack Chi. (chihuahua) hes a picky eater but when he does eat, on a normal basis he’ll eat puppy meat loaf etc. hes had all his jabs, and an avocate treatment. recently his breath has started to stink lol? it was only about a month ago or less he went to the vets and has a full check over, just of peace of mind. his eyes are normal colour, and gums etc. i would like to know whats caused it and also how to treat it?

Ive had bad breath for nearly 6 months now. i asked my brother and he confirmed it.

here is my brushing routine:
scrape tongue which usually has whitish buildup on
scrape cheeks and top of mouth
brush teeth for at least 3 minutes
brush tongue with toothpaste
use mouthwash for 30 seconds

I do this routine in the morning when I wake up and at night before going to bed. Yet still I get bad breath.

What should I change about my schedule? Perhaps flossing?

Also, usually after eating lunch and dinner, my breath stinks again!

i have a 25mos old baby boy ..every time he wakes up in the morning i always smell his bad breath..why is this happening?He is too young have a bad breath and every night i always brush his teeth but still he has a bad breath..can you give me some advice on how to cure this?i am really bothered..:(

My boyfriend tells me that my breath stinks. He says its not a strong stinky smell, but its a smell kinda like a rotted tooth. My teeth are perfect, i brush twice a day, i brush my tongue, floss and use mouth wash. I cant tell that it smells and he says he only smells it when im really close like laying on top of him. Any ideas what it might be or what i can do about it?

my boyfriend has terrible breath, is there a cure? he has tried everything except perscription … would that be best?
