Should I also get tested even when I'm taking antibiotics?

My bf has just called telling that he got tested positive for Chlamydia disease. He wanted me to go to the Dr and get treatment too. No one is cheating, we were both seeing other people before we met. I’m the only one who got tested for STD’s not him. Now I’m taking antibiotics for bad breath, I don’t know if antibiotisc can take care of everything else.

I am confused…You say your boyfriend tested positive for Chlamydia, but then go on to say you were the only one to get tested for STD’s, not him???
At any rate, if either of you tests positive for an STD, the other partner should be treated as well. You can go to the same clinic where your boyfriend went and receive the same treatment, or go to the local health department. You can tell them what antibiotic you are on for your teeth and they can tell you if it will work. It is likely that the antibiotic you are on will not cover Chlamydia as Chlamydia is usually treated with Zithromax or Doxycycline. It is important for you and your boyfriend NOT to have sex until the treatment has been completed and a test of cure (a test to make sure the infection is cleared) has been completed. After that, make sure that you both stay with each other and away from the people you were with before.
It would be nice for you to contact your previous sex partners and let them know about the positive test of Chlamydia so they can get tested since you are not sure which one of you brought it to the relationship.
Hope this helps!
