Ok long story short my dog has had some mouth infections in the past years and hes a 12-13 year old Border Collie, His breath is awful and it makes people avoid him and its very embarrassing when guests come over, I don’t want to go into what his breath smells like but it’s so bad that you can smell it across the room, are there any products or anything to cure bad dog breath even just a bit?

What you have to tackle is the cause of the bad breath. And if it is that bad and he has already had mouth infections then it sounds more like he needs antibiotics than mouth freshener.
If a gum disease is left then the infection goes down into the jaw bone and causes an absolutely awful stink. One of my old rescues had this and he needed a pulse treatment of antibiotics so one week in every month he had them in order to try and keep it at bay.
The smell is coming from bacteria which is causing infections and you need to treat the cause.
Or………. the possibility is there for an internal organ problem such as kidneys. The signs for this is really bad odour that you can smell across the room caused by the urea.
So I would say — don’t look to masking the smell but find the cause.
My vet office sells a product called "Breathalyser". It’s a water additive that is supposed to make your dog’s breath smell better. I’m sure pet stores carry similar products.
And the reason you don’t take him to the Vet to get his teeth cleaned is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That will take away the bad breath
go to pet marts and ask for the teeth brushing service! here’s a link—–> http://grooming.petsmart.com/spa-la-carte.shtml
Better consult your Vet to get proper treatment.
