I have bad breath sometimes, and I’m afraid that I would breathe on someone. What are some good tips to keep bad breath away for several hours at a time?

When you brush you teeth brush your toung… Carry some breath mints or gum…
Strangulation always is effective

when i’m not chewing gum and notice my breath smells, pop one in, when i’m done, the breath smells good for an hour or two
Brush your tongue, and floss. You might try a WaterPik – they work great, and you can mix mouthwash in with the water they use.
Brush your tongue. Thats where the funk lives. They even have special brushes for it now.
brush the back of your tongue, also floss your back teeth the most, bottom and top, alot of the plaque back in there causes most bad breathe, then brush after flossing.
It’s difficult to do for several hours at a time, but here are some things to watch out for. Make sure you are current on your dental work. This includes brushing 3x a day/after each meal and going for a cleainng/exam every 6 months. Eat 3 square meals–hunger and malnourishment can both add to bad breath. Make sure you are free of any sinus/respiratory infections as these can add to bad breath. Beyond this, try altoids or gum, etc.
I carry a mini mouth wash and use it after meals and away from home…kind of like a religious habit. But yes make sure you brush your tongue just as much as you brush your teeth.
flossing and mouthwash, however I suggest you carry a small thing of Tic Tacs with you and use them frequently.
brush tour tongue when you brush your teeth
a good mouthwash
mints
gum
I have no idea of the efficacy of this product, but I’ve been seeing commercials all weekend for a product called BreathRx. It is sold at a limited amount of drug stores, but claims to kill the bacteria that cause bad breath and leave you with fresh-smelling breath for hours…find out more at http://www.breathrx.com. There was a product a while back called Breath Assure that worked wonderfully…not sure if they sell it anymore, though.
brush your teeth and tongue. carry some mints with you. talk to your doctor or dentist
1. Tongue scraper. Rake the tongue from the back forward.
2. Brush with toothpaste.
3. Floss
4. Use mouthwash.
If you are away and can’t do the above, then rinse out your mouth with water. Some people also use mints.
