Bad Breath Causes, Cure & Treatment
You may be interested to know that the teeth or stinky foods are not the main cause of bad breath. It has now been verified that the tongue is the greatest cause of bad breath because the bacteria that are on the top of the tongue produce the bad breath smells. Sometimes you can see this bacteria as "white stuff". This must be cleaned off to get rid of bad breath. Mints, gum, mouthwash just covers up bad breath for a short time. Brush and floss the teeth and then clean the tongue with a very good tongue cleaner. I use OraBrush.
If you have alot of acid in your stomach that can cause it ( like acid reflex)
Bad breath is mainly associated with gingivitous and rotting food that is left over in your teeth from not flossing. People who do not floss are more likely to have bad breath. Eating certain foods is also VERY well known to cause bad breath and when people have digestive issues that can cause bad breath too.
often it comes from DRY MOUTH. in such a case, you can use a mouthwash like Oasis which is a moisturizing one, or any other mouthwash that is NON-alcoholic. alcohol dries out mouth.
Another reason could be sinus problems. Other than periodontal disease, this is the other common culprit….
