Other than improper brushing, there are many reasons for bad breath. It may be due to Gum diseases, subgingival calculus which is not cleanable by normal brushing, tongue coating, dry mouth, ENT infection or even systemic diseases like liver & kidney insufficiency. You can try using oral hygiene products to keep the mouth clean and fresh which kills the very bacteria that causes bad breath – http://www.nuvorainc.com/dentiva.html
I don’t think this is a condition but i heard somewhere that if you drink enough water it makes your breath smell better. I’m guessing this washes away the bad smell? Anyway it works for me so it might work for you
good luck sorry i couldn’t help any more
The primary cause of bad breath is from the top of the tongue, especially the back one-third, where bacteria grow and produce those bad smells. In addition, when you eat a smelly food (such as garlic) or drink a smelly liquid (such as coffee) some of this material collects on the top of the tongue and gives you bad breath. Mints, gum, mouthwash and even toothpaste will cover up these bad smells for a short time, however, they do not cure it because they do not get rid of the bacteria that cause it. The cure is to clean your tongue with a high quality tongue cleaner, not a toothbrush or a scraper. I learned this about 6 months ago when I leaned about OraBrush tongue cleaner. Here is their website so you can see a video which is really well done and entertaining.
