I brush my teeth, I use mouth wash, the usual solution for bad breath. But it never lasts, even if I haven’t eaten food. Is there something that will last?

The main cause of bad breath is stuff on your tongue (bacteria, food bits, etc) especially towards the back of your tongue. Tongue scrapers work really well for freshening breath, (but I don’t think the brushes work very well).
Check out the Wikipedia Page on Tongue Scrapers if you want more info.
I just read something about this on the internet last week. It said to swish a mix of half water and half hydrogen peroxide around in your mouth for about 15 seconds. I tried it. It doesn’t taste too bad, but not great either.
first off make sure you are brushing at least 2 a day. flossing at least…daily. and brush your tongue!! most bacteria becomes stuck there which is what causes most bad breath.
if u do all that + maybe some mouthwash..and still have bad breath consult a dentist you may have some kind of bad breath disease. i cant recall the name of it at the moment.
See a dentist. I had the same problem as a kid until the dentist cleaned my teeth and picked out some black stuff that looked like pepper. He told me that’s the cause of bad breath and that all the brushing, or mouth wash doesn’t remove, These black specs are usually between the teeth and have to be picked out by a dentist. I never had that kind of problem with bad breath since then
Apple Cider Vinegar can be used as an effective mouthwash that provides long-lasting relief from bad breath. Simply dilute 1/2 tablespoon of the vinegar into a glass of water and gargle it in your mouth for 10 seconds at a time. More useful remedies at http://sites.google.com/site/dentalinfosite/bad-breath
