What is the best bad-breath product for a very tiny dog who can’t eat extra treats?

My chihuahua is four pounds and there isn’t a lot of room for treats because he needs to fit in nutritious food. (Plus I am still training him so I need to reserve small treats for that).
What is the best product for his bad breath?

Brush! My small dog likes the electric toothbrush because it makes noise and he likes to bite it. No toothpaste! Baking soda would work though…
Also, if you feed him a diet high in fiber and without any corns or by products his system can balance out and his bile will be less pungent. Also, cut back on the table foods and feed him dry kibble only for a while. The chewing will be good for his teeth.

Get a lil tooth brush and clean his teeth.
Your veterinarian should carry the best and healthiest products for dogs and cats breath and teeth. Also, any store like Petsmart and Petco carry alot of the same products without having to pay for a dr visit and these stores sell the products for a fairly lower price, yet with the same results. From an owner of a chihuahua with bad breath, here is what I did. First, take your chi to the vet and make sure there is not anything medically wrong, my chi needed a dental and we got Ora vet applied to help keep the tarter buildup off longer. After my chi’s dental the bad breath was so much better but I got this stuff called Breathalyzer, which is a blue liquid you add to your dogs water. This product actually made a huge difference and it does not put weight on your dog. I love this product and it works amazingly well. I purchased mine from my vet but you might also be able to buy it online. Good luck!
How about a vet consultation to rule out any possible gum/tooth infections/plague? They are a very common cause of bad breath.
