what is your favorite remedy for bad breath?

not that i have a huge issue, but i get really self conscious sometimess.

Listerine in the morning and night, a thorough brushing of your teeth, also invest in a tongue scraper to get all of the build up and residue off and keep altoids or gum with you at all times.
Brush my teeth and tongue, and use mouthwash. I do it 3x a day but that is because I have braces and I have to, or else I would do it morning/night.
brushing your teeth and don’t forget about scrubbing that tongue! That really helps!

These are some of the things that contribute to bad breath 1. empty stomach 2. eating foods with heavy spices 3. smoking 4. coffee 5. gingivites
Just as important as brushing your teeth and tongue is flossing. If you floss and you see blood on the string, you may have a little gingivites. Decaying blood in your gums give a foul odor. Dont forget the mouthwash
I floss and brush before bed. If you sleep for 8 hours with particles of food between your teeth (where your mouth is a hot 98 degrees), food could decay and build up in your gums where large pockets will form. So no matter how much you floss and brush, you could never get to those pockets. Your dentist won’t get to those places either. A periodontist will have to clean out that build up in your gums to shrink those pockets. Periodontists specialize in bad breath and gum problems. But if you don’t have gum problems and just want fresher breath during the day, I would use Therabreath toothpaste and mouthwash. It’s stronger than regular toothpaste and more expensive, but it works way better. It stabilizes the bad bacteria in your mouth. You can get it at drug stores like Walgreens, or Walmart. Or you can get them at Therabreath.com, but it’s more expensive there. Good luck!
