What to do about bad breath?
I have this problem that when I skip a meal or something, my breath really starts to smell (I think its called "hunger odor" or something). Otherwise, I smell fine, but if I skip one meal then I smell really bad. Gum or mints doesn’t work on it. I don’t skip meals often, but I need to occasionally, and I feel embarassed that I’m the only person who can’t skip a meal once in awhile. Does anyone know any solution to stopping hunger odor other than eating (drinking water doesn’t help me emuch either)? Also, I actually have no idea what I smell like when I am hungry (I just know that I don’t smell great), so can anyone describe to me what the smell is like so that I can sesne it better? Thankyou to anyone who answers. Please answer, I really nee dhelp.

I have always called it dragon breath and the only thing that will work for me is a breath mint called Altoids
you are not alone on this =your gastric juices in your stomach are churning around because you have no food in there to digest and that is where the smell comes in
I have never heard of hunger odor. Where did you hear about that? I would suggest that you get your teeth checked. Seriously, teeth that are not in good condition can cause bad breath. Do you brush your tongue and your inner cheeks, with a toothbrush? Perhaps, you should do this, as well.
Firstly don’t skip a meal and eat regularly to keep your blood sugar level. Water WILL help you if you drink it throughout the day [at least three gulps every hour], and make sure it’s bottled mineral water [tap water can taste and smell horrible]. Brush your teeth every morning, every night before you go to bed & after every meal, along with Mouthwash [Listerine works good]. Mints WILL help but only temporarily. Brush your tongue after every meal too using a tooth&tongue brush. Contact your dentist for further information, & I hope this Helped.
–EDIT: Flossing inbetween your teeth helps get rid of dirty bits of food too therefore preventing bad breath
I do not much know what to do about it but I do know that if I get hungry that I get the smell of peanut butter or beef jerky.I like both of these a bit but not that much so I do not know why they show up.
oxygen work, therefore rinse your mouth out in in peroxide morning and night. I know it will help unless you need to go to the dentist because of a gingivitis problem.

Clean your teeth properly. A dental hygienist (make an appointment via your dentist) will show you how to clean your teeth properly, and how to use floss to clean between the teeth. Give your teeth a thorough cleaning for 3 minutes twice a day to remove the plaque, and use floss (see How to clean your teeth). Use disclosing tablets (which you can buy from pharmacies); these dye the plaque on your teeth, showing the areas you have not been cleaning properly. Use a toothpick after meals to remove large food particles from between the teeth and, if possible, rinse your mouth out after meals.
Bad breath is caused often because you haven’t brushed and flossed well .If you don’t keep teeth and gums free of the bacterial buildup, they’ll start to cause odor as the bacteria rot leftover food particles in your mouth. A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh.
